Re: G940 “Reversal Bug” Firmware 1.42 update

Hello Russ and other G940 owners. In case you aren’t aware, Fred41, is continuing his work on the G940 firmware. According to some G940 users over on DCS forum, he’s making great strides at improving it. :D Thought you might be interested and perhaps take a look at this new thread: https://forums.ea...

G940 “Reversal Bug” Firmware 1.42 update

For G940 users, I happened upon this very recent post on the DCS Forum. It provides links to update the G940 firmware to stop reversal bug on all axes. I haven’t had opportunity to try it yet but the DCS thread includes very positive feedback. The link to the forum post is here: https://forums.eagle...

Re: Brunner CLS-E FFB Joystick

Thanks Russ. I really hope that Force Feedback becomes “A Thing” in the flight simming community. In ‘97 when CH Products introduced the FX Forces joystick, which I bought for about $200.00 US, it added neat thumps and bumps but that was it. You obviously recognized that and wrote the code to make i...

Brunner CLS-E FFB Joystick

Hello Russ, First off, thanks for the continued support of FFB for flight simming over the years! In my humble opinion, FFB is the single most important element to adding realism to simming. After an empty decade for FFB it looks like Brunner actually has a FFB joystick available. I don’t know what ...

Russ,

You are The MAN!
My biggest concern about the V4 upgrade was losing my FFB. Thank you!!!

HAT swith and elevator trim

Just got a like new G940 (amazing actually in original packaging :D ) Also purchased FSUIPC. I'm using P3D. I want to use HAT switch for trim. Reading your documentation, I've NOT assigned elevator trim commands via FSUIPC. I've assigned the elevator trim via Profile Manager. [General] TrimClickAmou...

Re: G940 Firmware

Thanks Russel It is great to know the G940 works well under Windows 10. I love the build quality of the CH Products ForceFX but I want the dual throttle of the G940. I stuffed the Sidwinder 2 board into my ForceFX and it functions well with your program. It does unfortunately suffer from a little ce...

G940 Firmware

Realize this is an old thread but.... Looking at getting used G940. The logitech site no longer seems to have firmware update available (unless it comes as part of the driver package.) Is the logitech driver still viable in windows 10? Their site has a driver that implies it works on win10 64bit. Ob...

FS Force2 and Active Sky 2016 not happy together

First off Russ, thank you for this amazing add on. It adds an extra dimension to flight simming that I don't want to be without. In fact discovering FS Force2 after getting back into simming last year made me blow the dust off my 1997 ForceFX joystick and put a MS Sidewinder2 brain inside...best joy...
