On some systems FS Force is prone to do that, unfortunately. What is happening is that MSFS and FS Force are fighting for who gets to control the joystick, and you're feeling it as a slight jerk as they wrest control back and forth. I would recommend making sure your video drivers and sound card dri...

My tentative plans are to begin working on the next version sometime in early spring, which would put the release date somewhere around the beginning of summer. I'm sure that won't be soon enough for some, but I guess that's life. :) I just haven't been able to get any clear space in my schedule for...

Tony,

There was a thread on FBW (fly-by-wire) a while back. Might give you something to go on.

If MSFS (and therefore FS Force) is running when you enable/disable the trim window (using Profile Manager), you have to shut-down and restart MSFS.

Some users have reported success leaving the stick shaker feature in MSFS enabled. So in other words, you turn ON the master force feedback setting, but disable all the sub-options except stick shaker. The only thing you might notice is that the shaking will cut out after about 1 second, rather than...

I wasn't able to figure out how to work the trim with the big iron. It doesn't make sense to me from what your are explaining. Do I have to set the MS trim in flight to set the attitude, and then use FS-force to reduce the force induced? I was thinking a bit more about what you said. I would imagin...

Re: Some questions about trim and the product in general...

I got 4 sessions out of FS9 before your product expired. Sorry you didn't get the full trial period. That is the first report I've heard of that happening. May have been a glitch of some sort. If you want I can send you a utility that will clean the first trial off your system so you can get anothe...

Re: Ground handling; Glideslope issue

on the ground they are quite beasty. Russ, what changes would you recommend to make them to bahave themselves decently on the ground. You'll have to explain yourself more. What kind of problems are you having with aircraft on the ground? And another question. As soon as an aircraft intercepts glide...

I plan to begin work soon on version 2.0, and fixing the trim indicator is definitely on the list. I'm hoping to implement it as a pop-up gauge, kind of like the radio stack, or gps. There are a number of disadvantages to doing it that way: the guage has to be installed into each aircraft (hopefully...

Yes, you can do that. After you install FS2002, just re-install FS Force into the same folder. You shouldn't have to re-activate.

Yes, Joel, you've got the right idea now. If your system is affected by the FPS issue, you will see a FPS drop at all times, not just when the window pops into view. The only solution is to completely disable the trim window, or run in windowed mode.

Flight Sim Addons $30 or over

It seems there are a lot of people who think FS Force is outrageously overpriced, as if no one ever in the history of flight simulation has ever dared to charge that much for an addon. So I decided to put together a list of addons in the same price range (or higher) as FS Force. I'm not saying my pr...

Re: FS Force and FPS

Hi Joel, I see consistent drops to 10-22 whenever initiating activity that the program needs to crunch through (ie most anything but straight and level flight, but elevator changes seem to have less impact than aileron). Can you explain more about this? Are you saying you see a drop in FPS when you ...
