Hi Panther,

I just created a new forum on this site called "Tips & Tricks". You can post any profiles you created there, and see what other people are doing. Hopefully it will get some use. Not quite as organized as your idea

Are you referring to the full-throttle vibrations? Normally it uses throttle position to determine when to start the vibrations, but for a jet N1 is usually a better indicator. To get FS Force to use N1, you have to add the line "UseN1=1" to the profile for that aircraft. Open up the .cfg file, find...

I think you've made en excelent job on this program, it really adds something to the flying feeling. Thanks for the compliment. But honestly, I think the price will make you lose a lot of sales. Well, I guess we'll see about that. People have already posted messages at Avsim Forum that they like th...

I'm running WinXP with MSFF2, and under Game Controller / Properties, I've got a page that allows me to set FF intensity to High, Med, Low or Off. I only got that, though, by installing the 4.0 drivers that came with the joystick. If you no longer have those drivers, you can get them at driverguide....

I did, but I left all the settings "flat". You'll have to tweak it to how you think it should feel. Like I've said before, I've never flown in a real helicopter.

Not really. WinXP has all the necessary drivers built in. However there is one nice thing about installing from the CD and that is you get an extra page on your game controllers property sheet to test your joystick forces. Not essential, but comes in handy some times. If you can't find your CD, you ...

hope in future your software will add this fonctionality, because this is the main realistic sensation when you fly : speed sensation in stick and cramps pain in hand when you never trim your airplaine (especialy when you go down ) It already does have this functionality. In fact this is the very r...

The general release is now in the hands of the beta testers, and unless there are some big problems in the registration / activation process, I'll release it this weekend, or maybe Monday. :D :D

Cheers!

It is feasible. I would have to modify the software to read the slider position rather than wait for button presses. Will see how things develope.

What are you working on for the .60 beta? And thinking ahead about what for the .70? Well I'm basically trying to stabilize things now ... I've learned its not a good idea to start adding a bunch of features in a beta test period, it kind of defeats the purpose of the beta. Basically trying to get ...

I would maybe use the Medium Jet, or just create a new profile for that particular class of aircraft, like Heavy Prop or something.

I've never actually flown a fly-by-wire aircraft, or heard comments from someone who has, as to what it feels like. Do you know?

Hey Stan, Is there anything in particular that you'd like us to try and report on to you? Nothing in particular now. I'm working on some mundane stuff like trial period mechanism (every one gets 10 free flights to try it) and registration stuff. Hope to have the program released in a week or two. Th...
