Remember that FS Force relays your trim commands to the old MSFS trim system when you're on the ground, but as soon as you lift off, that stops which means the MSFS trim system will be in the take-off position for the duration of the flight. For most flight operations this will be of no consequence,...

Thanks for your support! :)

And yes, I do plan on starting work on an upgrade soon.

I suspect your joystick. The fact that the plane refuses to roll left means that at times, the joystick signal is not reaching the computer. You say that it works ok after moving the joystick around a bit. That would really fit the description of a bad connection or intermitent failures of the senso...

Re: Force Feed Back Strength

Also I have noticed that some planes work better then others. An example of this would be to compare the Caranado Bonanza with the Dream Fleet Cardinal. The Bonanza has lots of effects and the Cardinal is minimal. Is there a reason for this? It should be the same for all aircraft, assuming they use...

No, the keyboard and joystick work as separate entities

Remember that centering force is strictly a function of airspeed. Try going into the profile manager and editing one of the profiles. Set the graph up for 100% at a certain airspeed, and use the virtual aircraft to test the centering force. Then go into FS and do the same. Are the forces as strong i...

Here's a link to that comparison I did. I unlinked it from the main site for some reason?? Don't know why ... had a funny feeling people weren't receiving it well.

Hey Stan, thanks for the encouaging words. I don't think I've ever seen such an outcry about the price of an addon. It has me quite baffled. I think a lot of people are just parroting what a few negative cronies are saying on the bulletin boards.

What was the error message? I can see on my server logs your attempts to activate, so the information was being sent, ok, it just didn't get back to your computer for some reason. You can activate by email as an alternative if you want, but if you want to take the time to diagnose this problem, that...

Wow ... thanks for the info! That's awsome. :) So it sounds like you could do at least a partial job of simulating a helicopter with FS Force. Just set up centering forces that start at a very low airspeed and stay constant. The only limitation is that FS Force only allows trimming on one axis.

Right now, FS Force accepts only button or keyboard presses for trim commands. But it probably doesn't matter, because I don't think GoFlight controls support force feedback anyway. Or were you planning on using the trim wheel and a force feedback joystick at the same time?

Re: FSUIPC button programming and FS Force

I use button 3 and 4 for trimming pitch AND setting propeller pitch AND regulating Mixture AND To echo Simon's question, how can two buttons do all those things? In any case, just assign trim to a different set of buttons, or use the keyboard. In stead of checking buttons is it not better to check ...
