When you engage the AP, FS Force slowly (over about a minute) moves the joystick back to center. You probably won't notice it. You will still feel control forces though, which you can use to determine where the center point is. Just before disengaging the AP, gently move the stick forward and back t...

Hi Stan, sorry for taking so long to reply. I am in fact "contemplating" the next version, but I can't honestly say anything is in the works. A few weeks ago I spent a couple of days poking around on it, and in fact had thought that this summer would be when I really got down to working on the next ...

Try uninstalling FS Force, delete any remaining files and folders, and then re-install.

Yes you can adjust the elevator weight on a per profile basis, in the Profile Manager. Just select the profile, and click on Edit.

Maybe it's just a matter of practice, although I remain a bit uncomfortable with the constant pull forward on the joystick when on the ground. That forward pull is the "elevator weight", and it should be quite light. You can disable that feature in the Profile Manager if you don't like it. I don't ...

Could you describe the shaking? I'm wondering if what you're feeling is the pavement groove effect (a regular, light, bump bump bump which varies with ground speed), or something else. Do you have rudder pedals? Try unhecking "Trigger is Brake" in the Profile Manager. Also, try using the virtual air...

First problem - now that FSForce is installed, FS2002 will only run if I reconfigure the user to have administrative privileges, otherwise it hangs at the splash screen. Obviously I can work around this, but as a matter of policy I would prefer not to have to give users (even myself) admin rights. ...

When you're on the ground, the stick normally pulls forward a bit due to elevator weight. That is a feature you can turn off if you don't like it. Try this ... 1. Make sure FS is not running. 2. Start up Profile Manager 3. Got to the profiles tab. 4. Edit the Generic profile 5. Go to the Ground Ops ...

I guess you mean after lift-off, rather than after gear retraction, right?

No that's not a feature. Sounds like an intermittent compatibility problem between FS Force and the PMDG. All I can suggest for now is to keep using the re-init function to get you out of that situation.

What joystick were you using before the Cyborg? Was it working ok?

Most important thing is to disable the default Force Feedback within FS2004.

Do you get proper control forces using the "virtual aircraft" in Profile Manager?

when doing a touch down I do not feel a landing bump and also the ground-profile does not kick in. When at that point I trim to TO-position again (while rolling) it seems FSForce suddenly becomes aware of my being on the ground and the effects do happen. That sounds like a glitch. On some systems F...

When that happens, try using the FS Force Re-init command (Shift-I). It won't solve any conflict, but it may cause FS Force to resume normal operation with minimal hassle.

I would recommend testing it with whatever aircraft you are the most familiar with, that way your comparisons will be the most meaningful. To a certain level, I think all aircraft benefit equally from FS Force, but personal preference will of course be a factor. Remember you can test multiple aircra...
