i have saitek evo and have force, bud different error mssge

Post by zmanff » Wed Oct 21, 2009 6:29 am

i set up my joystick, re-installed drivers, and even set up fs force..with success. I do feel effects, but usally within 10 seconds of flight i get a message telling me a large number of direct x errors has been detected and then the help buttton brings me to the NO feedback Vista correction. Is this a different problem? I would love some help i need to know this will work before i buy it.
Thanks a bunch

P.S. Way to go with this idea though, i have always felt MS dropped the ball when it came to force feedback in all their flightsims.

There was another user with a Saitek, having problems as well. See this thread ... it might give you some ideas. You also might want to check out the Saitek web site, specifically the FAQ and the user forums. There seems to be a lot of problems with the Saitek joystick and Vista.

Also don't forget to try the FS Force diagnostic program.
