two joysticks..

Post by jwehyam » Tue May 10, 2011 2:31 am

I'm exploring the strategy of using a MS-SW-FFB2 and Saitek Evo..
I use the SW as to control the ailerons and elevator (cyclic) I like the feel of the MSSW a lot, BUT I use the Evo to control the throttle (collective) its bigger and better than that little slider.. I get to use both sets of buttons..
.. the trim is with the MS...

There's no overlap between the controls from each stick.. and it works fine but it's the saitek evo which responds to the bumps etc !! the joystick test is done on the MSSWFFB2...

any ideas.. BTW I dont mind much..but 8) Is there some where I should be fiddling things..

To set the MSFF2 as the preferred controller, you have to make an entry in the C:\ProgramData\FS Force\fsforce.cfg file. Visit the getting started page of the docs (http://www.fs-force.com/help2/getting_started.htm) and look towards the bottom for the section entitled Multiple Joysticks.

If you've installed the demo, it should be in C:\Programdata\FS Force.
