Prepar3d v2

Post by _alioth_ » Tue Nov 26, 2013 12:26 am

I have used fsforce for long time with FSX.

Today Prepar3D v2 has come, and I want to update fsforce.
I have seen there is an option to upgrade to Prepar3d, but not v2.

does It work with v2? Or I have to wait to a v2 version.

Thanks!

It is not working for me in P3D V2. Please hook it up as soon as possible for V2 Russel :!:

I'll be downloading the new release sometime today, and hopefully can give you an indication within the next day or so of how much work will be required to bring FS Force up to compatibility.

*Crossing fingers* SWFF2 is pretty much useless without FS-F

Ok, I've been able to carve some time out of my schedule to work on this, and I need a couple of people to confirm some registry entries for me. FS Force auto-detects which sims you have installed, by looking in the registry. What I'm seeing with my configuration (Win7, 64bit) is that the sim location is stored in the following registry key:

Code: Select all

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2
AppPath=<Path_To_P3DV2_Folder>
Is that what others are seeing as well?

Thanks, for the help.

There's another key that also seems to have the install path:

Code: Select all

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2
SetupPath=<Path_To_P3DV2_Folder>
Can anyone confirm that?

I have confirmed both of those entries. Mine show exactly as yours do.

Just getting back into this now. Sorry for the delay. I'd like to get this wrapped up in the next week or so.
