Helicopters or Rotorcrafts
Hello,
As these machines are in a different folder in FSX , how do I point to this folder to set the FSForce?

FS Force looks in the FSX.CFG file to determine the location of your Rotorcraft folder. You should have a section similar to this in your FSX.CFG file ...
[Main]
...
User Objects=Airplane, Helicopter
SimObjectPaths.0=SimObjects\Airplanes
SimObjectPaths.1=SimObjects\Rotorcraft
If FS Force is not locating your helicopters, I suspect either these entries are not in your .cfg file, or they are in a format that FS Force is having trouble reading. Can you open your FSX.CFG file and look for the above lines, and post them here? If I can see them maybe that will give me a hint as to why it is not reading your helicopters.

Hello,
This is what I have :
(Main) () stands for open/close brackets
//set it to 0.10 I get a significant boost in frame rate from the default.
// 0.33 is the default
FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.15
User Objects=Airplane, Helicopter
SimObjectPaths.0=SimObjects\Airplanes
SimObjectPaths.1=SimObjects\Rotorcraft
SimObjectPaths.2=SimObjects\GroundVehicles
SimObjectPaths.3=SimObjects\Boats
SimObjectPaths.4=SimObjects\Animals
SimObjectPaths.5=SimObjects\Misc
SimObjectPaths.6=SimObjects\AIAirplanes
SimObjectPaths.7=SimObjects\AI_Aircraft_NL
SimObjectPaths.8=SimObjects\AI_Aircraft_CH
Location=257,207,895,657,\\.\DISPLAY1
Maximized=2
HideMenuNormal=0
HideMenuFullscreen=1
// Should increase base loading time
DisablePreload=1
Hope it helps

Well, everything looks pretty normal there. I can't see any problem. If you're willing to help me debug this further, there is something I would like you to do. I need to see all the aircraft.cfg files in your SimObjects folder. One of them might have some unusual entries that is tripping up FS Force. If you have Winzip, there is an easy way you can group them all together, while still preserving the folder tree (which I need).
Regards,
- - start winzip
- click new on the toolbar
- specify a name and folder for the new zip file, then Ok
- this brings up the Add dialog
- under "Look in", specify the SimOjbects folder
- under File name specify "*.cfg"
- make sure "include subfolders" is checked
- click "Add with wildcards"
- when it is finished, rename the resulting zip file to a .txt extension so it gets through my spam filter
- email me the .txt file ... send to support "at" fs-force.com

I didn't receive your file, but I think I have found the problem. I notice even on my system that FS Force recognizes the Bell Jetranger, but not the Robinson R22. When I look in the rotorcraft folders, I see that the Jetranger has an aircraft.cfg file, but the R22 has a sim.cfg file, which is something new in FSX. I need to modify FS Force so it also looks for either a aircraft.cfg file or a sim.cfg file.
Are you seeing a similar correlation on your system?

Hello,
Yes I agree, the R22 has a sim.cfg and not a aircraft.cfg
I have changed the R22 sim.cfg into an aircraft.cfg , started the Profile Manager BUT negative result none of the "rotorcrafts" are visible, except the 1 that I tried to fly.
I made a new file with all the .cfg file but I do not have your e-mail address anymore.
