FS FORCE

Well not quite newby, but been away for a long time from FS Force.

I always used FS-Force v1 for FS9. Is v2 only for FSX?

That's correct. FSX introduced SimConnect, which was a whole new way of allowing addons to interface with the sim. FS Force v2 uses that, and is thus incompatible with FS9. Note the feature set of v2 is the same as v1.
