Profile for Heavy Props (DC3, Ford Trimotor etc.)

Post by Panther » Wed Dec 31, 2003 7:54 pm

Hi together,

attached you find my first attempt to create a profile for FS Force. You can add it to your profiles by simply pasting the lines to the end of your FSForce.cfg in your FS Force main folder.

In my opinion this profile reflects quite believable forces for heavy prop aircraft. I have tested it with the Douglas DC3 with the improved flight dynamics by Trev Morton (http://douglasdc3.com) and with the Ford Trimotor and find the behaviour quite convincing.

I have never flown such a large prop plane myself in real life, but have a few flying experiences with smaller prop oldtimers like the Yak-52 or the german 'Stampe' biplane. This experience might or might not come in handy for a heavy prop FF profile.

I'm very curious about critics & comments!

Regards,
Panther
